There were no injuries after a vehicle fire was reported in Niles on Friday afternoon. According to Lt. James Fedor of the Niles Fire Department, the fire happened in the Mad For Chicken parking lot at 5851 Youngstown Warren Road. The driver of a 2012 F-150 pickup truck noticed flames coming from beneath his dash as he traveled down U.S. Route 422. He was able to pull into the restaurant parking before the fire engulfed the vehicle. A passerby helped the driver retrieve his belongings from the truck.
