DENVER (KDVR) -- An early morning police chase on Thursday led to shots fired at an Englewood police officer. This marks the third time in the past three weeks that Englewood officers have been shot at during traffic stops, according to the department. Just after 4 a.m., a police officer attempted to pull over a stolen vehicle near South Broadway and West Bates Avenue, where they said the suspect refused to stop. The area is a few blocks west of Bates-Logan Park. The department provided a dash camera video that shows a police car chasing a white pickup truck.
