To the Editor: I am writing on behalf of many confused readers who had the displeasure of reading the piece that the UDJ allowed writer Tom Hine to compose. I am referring to his piece: Chon Travis ‘if you knew him, you loved him’. I am lucky enough to be one of the people who did know and love him, and his family, the family Tom Hine so impeccably paid no regards to. From the lack of acknowledgement to the blatant misnaming of the daughter of the deceased Tom’s disregard for this piece is palpable.
