(KRON) -- The Target in East Palo Alto is closing its doors permanently next month, KRON4 has confirmed. It is not known what the exact date the store will close. According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) report, the Target closure is effective Sept. 28. Eighty-five employees at this Target will be laid off, according to the WARN report. The notice was sent out on Monday, July 29. As of Sunday afternoon, Target has not provided a reason for its decision to shut down the East Palo Alto store.
