(QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Charlotte-Douglas International Airport unveiled two new "skybridges" Monday, making this the latest construction work to wrap for the Terminal Lobby Expansion project. The two 146,000-square-foot glass bridges linking the Hourly Desk and Terminal, connect to the new mezzanine level in the lobby. The bridges complement the existing underground walkways, offering pathways to bypass traffic and enhance passenger convenience as well as protection from weather.
