(KRON) – There have been three homicides in the city of Fremont in the month of July. Three-year-old Ellie Chinaza Obi Lorenzo was found dead at a San Jose recycling facility on July 13. Her suspected killer was her father, 42-year-old Fremont resident Jared Lorenzo, who police said took his own life after killing Ellie. A Santa Clara County coroner told KRON4 on Wednesday that the little girl died from “craniocerebral injuries” due to blunt force head trauma.
