SILVER SPRING, Md. — On Friday, June 21, 2024, Eoline McCrone died peacefully at the age of 103, in the home of her daughter, Nancy McCrone. She was born in Monessen, Pa., the eldest child of Gertrude and Harry Newhouse. She and her husband Mark, who preceded her in death, moved to Leisure World in Silver Spring, Maryland, in 1992, to be near their children and grandchildren. They lived there for over 30 years. She was the beloved mother of Terry McCrone Murray, Richard McCrone, Nancy McCrone, and the late Jeffrey and Jonathan McCrone. She left six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
