The Chapel Hill Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting from the early morning hours of Wednesday that killed one person at the Tyler Creek housing community. A release from the town said Chapel Hill Police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Ashley Forest Road at 1:04 a.m. on Wednesday.
