WARREN — The First United Church of Christ in Warren is beginning the process of repurposing its building as it will be closing and church officials and members want to ensure its legacy. The “Church with the golden dome” is located at 280 E. Market St, just east of the Social Security office building. The Rev. Gerald D. Gammon, pastor of the church, said, “Unfortunately, our church will be closing soon and we would like to offer our building to another deserving organization, but we must first see if there is any interest.” Gammon said the current congregation is planning to vacate the building at the end of 2025 and is looking for those interested in occupying the building thereafter. “T
