CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — One person is dead and three others injured after a shooting in west Charlotte, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed. Detectives arrived on the scene of the 1500 block of Parker Drive shortly before 9 p.m. in reference to an assault with a deadly weapon call. Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to local hospitals. MEDIC pronounced one victim died upon arrival to the hospital. The other victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Two additional victims transported themselves to the hospital. One with life-threatening injuries and the other with non-life-threaten
