(QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- One person is dead and another has been charged following a police chase that ended in a crash near I-40 in Iredell County, North Carolina State Highway Patrol confirmed with Queen City News. The incident began just before 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, when a trooper stopped to check on two people who were replacing a flat tire on a silver Hyundai Elantra on I-40 East.
