According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, as of 9:48 a.m., the center lane of I-70 just west of Wadsworth Boulevard was closed. The preliminary investigation indicated the motorcycle rear-ended another car. The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries and no other injuries were reported.
