(WSFA) – Brandon Miller, a former Crimson Tide basketball standout and SEC Player of the Year, is among those picked to train for the USA National Team, the University of Alabama noted Friday. Miller is one of the 15 players named to the USA Men’s Basketball Select Team. They’ll train with the USA Men’s Basketball National Team in Las Vegas from July 5-8 in preparation for the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Miller, who currently plays for the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets, is a 2024 NBA First Team All-Rookie selection. He’s averaged 17.3 points, 4.3 points and 2.4 assists per game during his rookie season with the Hornets. He recorded 2.5 three-pointers per game and 184 three-pointers
