Grass fire burning near Brentwood in Contra Costa County ...Middle East

(KRON) -- A grass fire was burning west of Brentwood in Contra Costa County Wednesday, according to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District. Crews are on the scene of the fire, which is centered around Deer Valley Road and Balfour Road. The fire has grown rapidly to 50 acres, according to Cal Fire. 49ers cut ties with influencer who admitted to sending inappropriate messages to minor Road closures are in effect along Deer Valley Road. Images from a PG&E camera showed heavy smoke emanating from the blaze. There was no immediate word on how the fire started or if structures were threatened. This is a developing story.
