(QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A check of a parking area in Lincoln County led to the discovery of a stolen car and a chase into Cleveland County, in which the suspect Jeremy Aaron Huffman fired shots at deputies and a school bus, the Lincoln and Cleveland County Sheriff's Offices say. Deputies say on Wednesday, June 19, they were checking the area where a taco truck normally parks near NC Highways 18 and 10 when one vehicle's license plate came back as stolen from Catawba County. Deputies stopped the stolen car, but when they approached, Huffman drove off, going south on Highway 18 into Cleveland County.
