I was recently called to jury duty in Weld County. Ultimately, I was not selected for a jury, but the process confirmed to me the importance of this responsibility for U.S. citizens. Jury selection was well organized, fair and impartial. The people involved in selecting juries, including the judge, attorneys, judicial clerks and security personnel, are to be commended. They were helpful, respectful and appreciative of jury pool member service.
