WARREN — Police are investigating a Wednesday night shooting on the city’s northwest side that sent one person to the hospital. A city police report states the victim, Kiaeem Williams, age not disclosed, was taken to Trumbull Regional Medical Center in a private vehicle with what police say are nonlife-threatening injuries. A news release states officers responded after 9 p.m. to the 2300 block of Stephens Avenue for a shooting. Officers found the area littered with shell casings. Police said children were playing in the front yard in the direct line of fire during the incident.
