Every year I find a new reason to love summer. As a kid the reasons were obvious: No school, local pools, a free trolley that ran through my town from Memorial Day to Labor Day (and still my favorite form of public transportation ever). As an adult, the reasons can be easy to miss — although free RTD service the past two summers rival my childhood trolley rides in their practicality.
