The Chevrolet Silverado and Ford F-150 collided at about 6:30 a.m. on the northbound side of the freeway, just south of Deer Springs Road in the unincorporated Jesmond Dene area, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash caused the Chevy to overturn and roll side-over-side several times, fatally injuring the driver.
