Some 190 administrative staff and supervisors from 107 public schools in the country took part in a series of training workshops on first aid, organised by Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) recently. As part of the QRCS school programme, the workshops were held in co-operation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education’s (MoEHE) Training and Educational Development Centre. Over eight days, first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) courses were attended by the participants, who were nominated by MoEHE since they are in direct contact with the students throughout the academic year.
