Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported 786 heat-related illness cases and three sunstroke deaths this summer season. This has been informed by Director of Health Services Dr Bijay Kumar Mohapatra. The three deaths were reported in Dhenkanal, Balasore and Mayurbhanj, he said. The senior health official further stated that a probe is underway to find out the cause of death 17 more persons in different places in the State. Meanwhile, the Kalbaisakhi has brought respite from the heatwave across the State with considerable drop in day temperature for the last two days.
