By Braden Keith on SwimSwam The International Olympic Committee has named 36 athletes from 11 countries to the Refugee Olympic Team at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, marking the largest such team since the program was introduced for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The team was approved by the IOC’s Executive Board and relied on the United Nations’ Refugee Agency to verify refugee status.
