New Delhi: Delhi Police’s economic offences wing (EOW) has busted a fake job racket that duped aspiring workers of Rs 4-5 crore. A woman arrested in Punjab is believed to be the mastermind behind the operation, targeting people across India and Nepal with promises of lucrative jobs in Canada. Police received over 50 complaints in connection with the fraud.They suspect the gang may have duped as many as 150 people.The racket came to light after complaints from 23 individuals across Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Tamil Nadu.
