Twenty students from Classes 11 and 12 of MES Indian School participated in the voluntary humanitarian initiative launched by Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) at the LuLu branches recently. The objective of the volunteering was to create awareness on donation to support QCS. As part of the assigned task, the volunteering students interacted with customers and encouraged them to buy products from sections exclusively marked in pink as a certain percentage would go as proceeds from such products to QCS, when the QR Code is scanned at the billing counters for an automatic credit of donation.
