Cowboys strength coach Markus Paul, an NFL safety with the Bears and Buccaneers from 1989 through ’93, died Wednesday night, Dallas officials said. He was 54. Paul was taken to the hospital after experiencing a medical emergency at the team’s facility Tuesday. The team said the cause of death was pending.
