ASHTABULA — James Golf Lyle Jr. passed away peacefully, Saturday, Feb. 17 2024. Jim was born Oct. 19, 1937, to Margaret Dunkerley Lyle and James G. Lyle Sr. in Youngstown. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Moore Lyle; siblings, Virginia Wallis Hanni (Curtis), Dan B. (Phyllis) Wallis and Robert N. Wallis; and is survived by their children, Douglas (Sherri) Lyle, Jeffrey (Shari) Lyle and Gregory (Shelly) Lyle; grandchildren, Elyse (Josh) Stands, Jennifer (Patrick) Walsh, Douglas and Derek Lyle, James (Alissa) Lyle and Jordan Lyle, Taylor and Thomas Lyle; and great-grandchildren, George and Etta Stands, Emersyn Lyle and Ronnie Walsh. Jim retired after 35 years at General Electric
