YOUNGSTOWN — Guest conductor Erik Ochsner returns to lead the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra on Sunday. The program, “Unknown & Gorgeous: River and Iron,” is inspired by the regional proximity to the Mahoning River and the Valley’s steel industry history as well as the conductor’s Finnish-American roots, Ochsner said in a December interview. The concert will open with Aaron Copland’s “John Henry: A Railroad Ballad for Orchestra”; Eugene Kapp’s Kalevipoeg’s “Ballet Suite”; Alexander Mosolov’s “The Iron Foundry”; Uuno Klami’s “Kalevala Suite”; Peter Boyer’s “Rolling River: Sketches on “Shenandoah”; Tobias Picker’s “Old and Lost Rivers” and Ottorino Respighi’s “Pines of Rome.” Ochsner attended
