A longtime head coach and contributor to the Cherryville football program has retired. The school and Tim Pruitt announced his retirement in a joint statement on Thursday. Pruitt has worked as a football coach for 33 total years. Over his time, he worked at five different high schools and one college. He also served two stints with the NC Football Coaches Association Board of Directors. Pruitt was a region rep (at West Wilkes & Watauga) and worked with Daniel Barrow Sr. & Executive Secretary, Jim Taylor.
