NILES — Donald Richard Hodges, 77, passed away peacefully at 10:14 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, at the Select Specialty Hospital, St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, following an extended illness. Donald was born March 24, 1946, in Warren, the son of Bernard and Ina Grimm Hodges and lived in Trumbull County all his life. Don was a Howland High School graduate and of the Christian faith. He was a Marine veteran during the Vietnam War. He retired in 2014 as a service attendant for the Shell Oil Company, North Road Gas Station, where he was employed for 10 years.
