KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) – Two Kearney school officials now face subpoenas in civil slander case filed by a former girls basketball coach. A Buffalo County District Court official Thursday issued subpoenas to Kearney Public Schools Superintendent Jason Mundorf and Kearney High Principal Jeff Ganz. The subpoena requires them to answer questions in April from a lawyer representing former coach Jonathan Carson. After resigning as Kearney High girls basketball coach in November, Carson later claimed he was the victim of a “witch hunt” and denied accusations that he had an inappropriate relationship with a member of the team.
