Jacob Poe, 41, of Taylor Avenue, was sentenced in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court to five years of community control under the supervision of probation officers. Additional sanctions issued by Judge Sean O’Brien stipulate he will spend 180 days in Trumbull County jail. Poe will only be able to access the internet using a phone provided and monitored by the Trumbull County Adult Probation Department but he will not be permitted to use social media. Poe will also have to register as a tier 2 sex offender which will require him to register in person with the sheriff in the county where he establishes residence.
