Josiah Hatch arrived in Denver from Georgia in 1993. His most recent publication is “Journey to St. Thomas: Tales for our Time.” Long a fan of “The Canterbury Tales” and its flow of Middle English, which inspired his own book, he studied the language, and others, while at Oxford.
