ROCHESTER — High school basketball fans will get a two-day treat this weekend at Mayo Civic Center when 18 games will be on tap as part of a showcase event between the Hiawatha Valley League and the Three Rivers Conference. There will be nine boys and nine girls games being played over a two-day period, Friday, Jan. 19 and Saturday, Jan. 20. The HVL-TRC Showdown will be played in the Mayo Civic Auditorium and Arena. This marks the fifth year of the event.
