University of Colorado Boulder scientists will attempt to collect stardust from space with a new instrument designed by them at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, a research center at 1234 Innovation Drive in Boulder. The new space instrument, called the Interstellar Dust Experiment, was shipped earlier this week to the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Maryland.
