HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah met yesterday with the visiting Italian Defence Minister Lorenzo Guerini. The meeting reviewed the bilateral military relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance them. The two sides also signed a co-operation agreement between Qatar Amiri Air Force and the Italian Air Force on the training programme for military personnel at the International Aviation Training Academy, and another co-operation agreement between Barzan Holdings, affiliated with the Ministry of Defence, and the Italian Leonardo Company. The meeting was attended by senior officers at the Armed Forces.
