The Monroe News | USA TODAY NETWORK MONROE — The Monroe Family YMCA is registering for its Winter Youth Basketball Leagues for children ages 4-10. Registration is open until Dec. 18 and is open to all, regardless of YMCA member status. Leagues will begin in January. The ages 4-5 division will be held on Thursday evenings. One-hour practices are scheduled Jan. 11 and 18. Half-hour practices and half-hour games will be held Jan. 25 through Feb. 29. The ages 6-7 and 8-10 divisions will begin weekly practices the week of Jan. 8, and games will be Saturday mornings from Jan. 27 through March 9.
