BERKELEY — A Berkeley man has been charged with felony assault for allegedly attacking an Amazon delivery driver, chipping the victim’s tooth, court records show. The 30-year-old Berkeley resident was arrested Nov. 27 and charged two days later with felony assault likely to produce great bodily injury. Police say he approached a driver on the 1600 block of University Avenue, struck up a conversation, then punched the man in the face, chipping his tooth. Police arrested the man two blocks away, on the 1400 block of University Avenue, at the hotel where he was living, according to court records.
