GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) – Monday morning marked an exciting day for students at Walnut Middle School in Grand Island. They got the first look at some new equipment they will get to use. Social Studies Teacher and Athletic Director Eon Lemburg was awarded a grant from the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation to purchase new fitness equipment for the “Junior Islander Power” program.
