WARREN — Municipal Court Judge Terry Ivanchak has bound over an abuse of a corpse charge against a Warren woman to Trumbull County Common Pleas Court. Brittany Watts, 33, faces the fifth-degree felony that involves the handling of the miscarriage of her 22-week-old fetus Sept. 22 at her Tod Avenue home. According to investigators, Watts miscarried the baby while using the restroom and tried to plunge and flush the remains down the toilet, where it got stuck in the pipes. The toilet had to be removed by police and taken to the Trumbull County Coroner’s Office. Watts is free on $5,000 bond.
