Two people found dead in the wreckage of a plane that crashed near the Round Valley airport earlier this month have been identified, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported in a press release Saturday. According to the MCSO, the deceased persons were identified as Vaughan Wesley Porter, a 54-year-old man from North Highland, Utah, and Jaime Danielle Rust, a 51-year-old woman from Payson, Utah. Deputies were first dispatched to the 21000 block of Airport Road in Covelo around 6 p.m. Oct. 20 when it was reported that a plane had crashed.
