Wilde qualified for the state tournament by winning the District 5 Tournament singles title Sept. 30 at the Crusader Athletic Complex. She only dropped nine games in three matches at districts, defeating Grain Valley’s Cate Barnes 6-4, 6-1 in the championship match.
