Bhubaneswar: In order to ensure uniform and transparent system of leave allocation among Medical Officers of OMHS cadre, the Odisha Government has decided to allow off-days in lieu of notified public holidays with the conditions for the medicos. The OMHS Cadre officer, who attended duty on a designated public holiday(s), has been allowed to avail equal number of alternative off days in the same month subject to availability of adequate HR in the health facility, according to the Health and Family Welfare Department.
