A 23-year-old Gualala man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in the death of another Mendocino Coast man over the weekend. The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim as Jesus Joel Romero, 32, a resident of the Point Arena-Gualala area. “A forensic autopsy is scheduled for later this week, but preliminary body observations suggest Romero died as the result of multiple gunshot wounds,” the MCSO reported in an updated press release Monday morning.
