Bhubaneswar: Basing upon reliable information, the Odisha Vigilance Officials today intercepted Debiprasad Mohanty, Superintendent, Godown, Nimapara, Odisha State Warehousing Corporation. He was intercepted by a team of Odisha Vigilance while he was waiting for bus at Nimapara and cash worth Rs.2.14 Lakh (suspected ill-gotten cash) was found from his possession. As Mohanty could not account for satisfactorily, the amount was recovered from him and seized. Following the interception, simultaneous searches are being carried out at 3 locations of Mohanty from DA angle. He is being examined to ascertain the source of funds.
