The Carrboro Police Department alerted the community of an arrest in its investigation of a fatal stabbing on Wednesday. A release from the town said police arrested 30-year-old Sedgwick Raynard Barnes Jr. in connection to the death of Kenneth Michael Moseley one week prior. Investigators said Barnes is charged with first degree murder and was booked in the Orange County jail on Tuesday with no bond. There was no address listed for him in Wednesday’s release.
