Issue 1 submits: let’s install a mandate that anyone proposing a state constitutional change must require moresupport than a simple 51-vote majority. That deck in Ohio is thus stacked against a Democratic proposal from the start. To ensure that our Democratic republic stays accountable to all its citizens, it’s up to all voters to stop the requirement of a 60 vote super-majority.
