Americans continue to have little faith in major institutions, following a dip in numbers in the previous year, according to a new Gallup poll. The poll, published on Thursday, found declines in public confidence in seven of the 16 institutions the pollsters track annually, with the military and medical system suffering the most, each down by 4 percentage points. Other institutions that saw a drop in faith include small business, police system, banks, public schools and organized labor.
