A Ukiah man was arrested this week for alleged possession of fentanyl, body armor and a firearm, the Ukiah Police Department reported. According to the UPD, an officer approached a vehicle deemed suspicious in the 1200 block of South State Street around 9:30 a.m. May 15 that was in the parking lot of several businesses. When the officer contacted the man in the vehicle, identified as Tobias C. Wood, 29, with no fixed address, he described him as “acting suspicious and appeared to be under the influence of drugs.” After speaking with Wood, the officer reported seeing him “pick up a piece of tin foil which contained suspected fentanyl inside of it.” The officer then detained Wood and searched
