The National Seismic Network, affiliated with the National Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG), recorded an earthquake 33 km northwestern al-Tor city in South Sinai, on Saturday. The NRIAG said that the tremor came at about 10:12 am, at a depth of 20.24 km recording a strength of 3.85 on the Richter scale. The institute added that it had not received any reports of people feeling the tremor or any loss of life and property.
