A 15-year-old girl has been arrested in connection with the death of another teenager found dead Saturday in a field in Covelo, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported. According to the MCSO, deputies responded to the 23800 block of Howard Street in Covelo around 11:30 a.m. April 15 when it was reported that a dead body had been found in a vacant field. When they arrived, the deputies contacted the uncle of Ruby Sky Montelongo, a 16-year-old Covelo resident whom family members were searching for because the teen did not return home Friday evening.
